The Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) Rajouri Garden is undertaking a social responsibility to create awareness in Delhi NCR schools about animation. The institute is organising an animation festival to provide a global and broader view of animation industry.
MAAC has have been organising such workshops in schools such as Vardhman Shiksha Mandir (Daryaganj) and Sunhill Public School (Patel Nagar) where usually, students don’t get the exposure and opportunity to showcase creative talent and understand the potential of the ever evolving Indian animated filmmaking and computer generated imagery industry.
Recently, a workshop at the Army Public School was organised where students and parents participated in creative arts and had a session with their children to understand what arts and animation was all about.
Avi Kaur, senior career counsellor says: “We have a clear vision to flesh out right talent and nourish them to the world class level.
“To prepare a talent, we need to search kids that have creativity, conceptualisation and zeal of animation. Our training is the best and that’s why we are searching talent at this level and providing complete counselling.”
