NEET-II paper was along the lines of AIPMT (NEET-I) which was conducted in May this year. Children who studied for NEET-II using NCERT textbooks and who took help of noted reference books for NEET-I, would have fared well. Subject wise feedback is given below:
PHYSICS
Physics was quite calculative. Concepts were tough and calculations were lengthy. Twenty-two questions from class XI and 23 from class XII were there in the paper. The question paper was on the tougher side as all concepts were not from NCERT level.
CHEMISTRY
The questions of Chemistry in NEET-II were more standard than NEET-I. Some questions were out of the syllabus and beyond the scope of the NCERT books. Numerals were formula-based and easy. One question had two options correct (Code-AA, Q67). The entire syllabus was not covered and some chapters were missed, like Chemistry in Everyday life, Environmental Chemistry etc.
BIOlOGY
The biology paper was standard. It covered the class XI and class XII syllabi in a balanced manner. All the important chapters were covered. The questions were a mix of simple, average and difficult type. Some questions were beyond the NCERT text (restriction endonucleare making blunts end cut).
