The Ohio State University (OSU), the second largest public research university in the United States, in association with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) announced commencement of first H3C Health Sciences Innovation Conference in India. The first day of the conference witnessed multi-stakeholder discussion around regenerative medicine, nanotechnology and wound care. The conference is chaired by Prof Chandan K Sen, a key leader at The Ohio State University and a scientist of Indian Origin.
The Ohio State University pioneers in regenerative medicine providing strong inputs for the proposed centre in Delhi at the AIIMS campus, for which the Indian Council for Medical Research and the Department of Biotechnology will be approached for funding. The conference explored opportunity to build international collaboration networks.
