Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) will be conducting an entrance exam — All India Selection Test (AIST) for admission to its Master's and Bachelor's programmes.
COURSES
The three-year Bachelor's degree programmes are:
BSc Footwear Design and Production
BSc Retail and Fashion Merchandise
BSc Fashion leather accessory Design
The two-year Master's degree programmes are:
MSc Footwear Design and Production
MSc Retail and Fashion Merchandise
MSc Creative Design CAD/CAM
Selection procedure
mODE OF EXAM
The All India Selection Test (AIST) is computer based multiple choice examination. The programme and campus shall be allotted to the candidate on the basis of his/her rank and preference. Successful candidate shall be called for the counselling as per their rank.
Exam pattern
The duration of the entrance shall be 2.5 hours. It will be conducted in English and Hindi languages. The paper will consist of total 150 objective type questions. Each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking. For UG programmes, there will be four sections— Mathematics, General Science, English and General Awareness. The PG programmes, the four sections comprises of Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Business Aptitude.

Important dates
The last date to apply is May 22. FDDI AIST 2017 will be conducted from June 9 to 11, 2017 and the results will be declared on June 30. The new session will commence from August 1, 2017.
