Deakin University, Australia, is offering scholarships and bursaries to Indian students applying for the November 2016 intake. These scholarships are open to most undergraduate and post graduate programmes and are based on students meeting the required academic criterion.
The scholarships and bursaries offered by Deakin for Indian students include a bursary of 10 per cent, 15 per cent or 20 per cent on merit basis. The university even offers a grant of 25 per cent for its undergraduate and post graduate courses to students who have average scores of 80 per cent in Class XII and 75 per cent in bachelors, respectively.
Deakin University also offers 100 per cent scholarships, referred as the Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s Meritori-ous Scholarship programme, which recognises students who have a consistently high academic record, along with the potential to make a leading contribution to the University and its communities. To avail it, an aspirant must have achieved an 85 per cent average (or equivalent) in previous studies. These scholarships are now available for studies in 2017.
Eligibility: The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for an undergraduate programme is 65 per cent and PG programme is 55 per cent. Applicants must also meet minimum English language proficiency levels.
