The Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, invites application for its Joint Entrance Test (JET) for admission in BSc and BTech courses.

Eligibility
The candidates, who have passed the Senior Secondary (10+2) exam conducted by any Statutory Board or any recognised Board equivalent to it in any of the following subjects, are eligible to appear in JET. They must have secured at least 50 per cent marks in 10+2 exam. A relaxation of five per cent marks would be allowed to candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/SBC (Non creamy layer) category. Those, who have appeared at any of the aforesaid qualifying examinations (Arts and Commerce stream are not eligible) but whose results have not been declared before the commencement of the JET shall provisionally be allowed to appear in the JET. The maximum age limit is 25 years as on January 1, 2016.
Exam Pattern
The question paper would be available in five subjects namely Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics out of which the candidate has to attempt any three. Each subject will have 40 multiple choice questions and the correct answer should be marked on the OMR sheet. Four marks will be given for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. If more than one option is chosen, it will be considered incorrect.
Important dates
The last date for the submission of application form is April 10, 2016. Admit cards will be available online from May 10 and the exam is scheduled to be held on May 15, 2016.
