PNS

The lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and Technology (lBSIMT), Bareilly organised national seminar in the Capital on leveraging People’s Power for Competitive Advantage.

The seminar was inaugurated by Siraj A Chaudhry chairman Cargill India ltd;  chairman Anil Shastri, former minister, VC Sanjeev Shrivastav and director Prof Rajendra Bharti.

Vice-chairman Sanjeev Shrivastav in his welcome address dwelt upon the fact that leveraging in simple terms is to lift or enhance something with a minute or little efforts. People’s power can be measured in three ways as it exists ie individual power, collective power which reflects interfaces of energies and super imposed power  which is an outer interface of power or outer thrust like some encouraging global news or some boom in work sphere.

Chaudhry in his inaugural address emphasised on team work and leader has a vision for success, there should be trusted members in the team. He gave the mantra of sincerity,  reliability, competitiveness which is divided by self interest.

He also said that there is need to believe in the power of small town. One should start building his own skills, upgrade his knowledge.

Speaking at the seminar, Shastri in his presidential address enlightened the audience that to accept the challenges in life is a mantra for success. “Everything revolves around people in an organisation like millions of stars moves around in the galaxy. When you are working in a team the team experience is the multiple of the experiences and knowledge of its group members. Each member in the team should be confident and smart,” he said. He also said that greater the transparency lesser the grievances.
