AIEED
The ARCH Academy of Design, Jaipur conducts All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) for their four-year UG and two-year PG programmes. The online exam is from December 15, 2015 to February 29, 2016. The offline centre-based exam is on January 31, 2016
Courses
The UG courses include Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewellery Design, Graphic Design, Craft Product Design, Design Management and Bachelor in Visual Arts. The PG programmes includes Fashion Design, GPEM, Interior Design, Jewellery Design, lifestyle Accessory Design, Design Communication, Strategic Design Management, and Strategic Management and leadership
Eligibility
For UG programmes, the candidates should be Class XII passed from any recognised board like ICSE / IB / State Board / NIOS or equivalent (as per UGC guidelines). Candidates, who are appearing for the Class XII exam, can also apply. For PG, the candidate should be a graduate from any recognised university
Mode of exam
The exam is conducted on both online and offline (centre-based) basis. Students can write the online exam from either home or cyber café. The candidates, whose forms have been accepted, will have to appear for the online entrance exam at the allotted date and time slot. Candidates can write the offline AIEED centre based exam from any of the 13 cities across India.
Test pattern
AIEED written test is designed to test the knowledge, skill and aptitude of the candidates for the programme opted. The paper pattern of AIEED consists of objective type questions. The questions will be from the various topics such as general awareness, language comprehension, logical reasoning, psychological analysis, visual understanding, lateral thinking, skill sets, design awareness and thinking. The medium of instruction of the exam is both in English and Hindi.
SElECTION CRITERIA
The selection of candidate and awarding the scholarships will be on the basis of their performance in past education field, AIEED exam result (NATA/CAT/MAT AIEEE score in the respective courses), performance in interview and portfolio.
