Management programme
The International Management Institute (IMI), Delhi, opens admissions to four courses — Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDM- HRM), Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Financial Services (PGDM-B&FS) and Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The last date to apply for these programmes is December 5, 2015. For those seeking admission to EXPGDM, the last date is February 12, 2016.
Three of these courses PGDM, PGDM (HRM) and PGDM (B&FS) are two-year programmes. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is designed to prepare students for careers across functional areas of management.
A Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or PGDM (HRM) equips students from varied disciplines for careers in human resource management. A Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Banking & Financial Services or PGDM (B&FS) prepares students for careers in the banking and financial services industry.
The executive programme, EXPGDM, however, is a 15-month programme that’s been aimed at the middle level managers with a minimum of five years of work experience (post qualification). It includes 10.5 months of course work at IMI Delhi campus and a 5-week optional course at a partner Business school in Europe/USA. The executives then present a dissertation over the next three months (company sponsored executives do a dissertation at their workplace). The application form for these courses is available at http://admission. imi.edu. The institute only accepts online forms.
