Business management for defence officers
To broaden core managerial competencies and to further enhance the professional growth of Defence officers, Directorate General of Resettlement, approved by Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has sponsored the certificate course in Business Management for Defence Officers. Fore School of Management has designed the programme and will also conduct the same.
The 24-week course will start from August 10, 2015 to January 22, 2016. The last date for submitting application is August 8, 2015. This programme aims to familiarise the officers with the framework of business environment and equip them with management and analytical skills for leadership and decision-making roles.
It will supplement their existing expertise of participant with general management and functional area knowledge.
The course is spread over four terms, each term has six programmes. It will include contemporary pedagogy like, case based analysis, lectures, exercises, simulation and games, projects etc. Performance of participants will be monitored through quizzes, assignments, projects and examinations.
On successful completion of the programme participants will be awarded with certificate of completion.
Meritorious candidates or high achievers may be provided assistance for placement after successful completion of the programme.
