The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) along with Association of Human Resource Professionals (HRP), Sri lanka announced the launch of the HR certification programme. The two new certifications, SHRM- Certified Professional (SHRM–CP) and SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM – SCP), will set new standards for HR professionals, and help them grow in their careers.
In a rapidly changing environment, HR professionals are becoming more prone to varied challenges in their workplace, than ever before. To deal with these challenges effectively, they need to be competent and well versed in the required skills and constantly upgrade their knowledge.
Keeping the above in mind, SHRM has created a certification that is clearly focused on the competencies and knowledge, all HR professionals need, to lead in today’s business community.
