NDA and NA (I)
The Union Public Service Commission conducts this exam for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA and for Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The candidates Joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo four years B Tech Course and would be given an opportunity to join Executive and Technical Branches of the Navy subject to availability of vacancies.
Eligibility
Candidates interested in the Army wing of the NDA should’ve completed Class XII from a recognised education board in any stream. For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA, candidate should’ve completed Class XII with Physics and Mathematics.
Exam pattern
The written test includes two parts— Mathematics and General Ability Test. The duration of the exam is one day. Both the section is of two and a half hours each and comprises of 300 questions in Mathematics section and 600 questions in General Ability.
Selection Procedure
Selection is based on performance in a written examination followed by the interview procedure by the services selection board.
Important dates
The last date for receipt of applications is January 23, 2015 and the date of commencement of examination is April 19, 2015.
