Young India Fellowship
The Ashoka University announces admissions for its postgraduate programme— Young India Fellowship, a one year multidisciplinary postgraduate programme in liberal Studies and leadership.
The admission process for the class of 2015 is split into two rounds. The first round of admissions has already begun from September 5, 2014 and will close on February 28, 2015. Applicant’s personal interview will be held in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata.
The fellowship attracts a diverse group of bright young men and women from across the country with the aim to train them in a diverse set of disciplines and with the intention of equipping them to become socially committed change agents for the future. To meet the increasing demand for entry, the number of seats has been increased to 200.
ICSI waives exam fee
Expressing solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their hour of distress, CS R Sridharan, President, ICSI, informed that Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is waiving off the examination fees for all students of the Kashmir Valley. Special arrangements have been made for submission of examination form for December, 2014 session. The students belonging to Kashmir Valley can submit the exam form on plain paper or through e-mail for appearing in December, 2014 exam. They can send their requests in hard copy or e-mail at Noida Directorate of Student Services (DTE) of Student services, ICSI, C-37 Sector 62 Noida-201301.
