The Patna University is going to conduct Entrance Test called MEET (MEd Entrance Test) for admission into Master of Education Course for the academic session 2014-15.
There are a total of 35 seats in the department. The candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination conducted by the university, MEET 2014.
Eligibility
The candidates who have obtained at last 55 per cent marks in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto duly recognised by the UGC and NCTE are eligible to appear at MEET.
There will be a relaxation of 5 per cent marks in favour of SC/ ST/ OBC and other reserved category of candidates as defined by the state Government.
Important Dates
The last date of submission of application form is October 17, 2014. The date of entrance test is November 1 and the result will be declared by November 10, 2014. The date of publication of admission list is November 15 and the admission is from November 15 to 29.
How to apply
The candidates can obtain application form and prospectus from the Patna University by sending a Demand Draft of Rs 200 drawn in favor of ‘Head Department of Education.’
A payment of Rs 600 by General candidates and Rs 450 by SC/ST candidates has to be made in the form of entrance test fee at the time of registration.
