Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) is an autonomous institute under the department of chemicals and petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The admission to CIPET is carried through the joint entrance examination which is conducted every year by CIPET.
CIPET offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes at High learning Centres at Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, lucknow and Kochi.
Exam format
CIPET JEE will consists of two parts—Preliminary exam and Main exam. CIPET JEE Preliminary exam will be of three hours duration consisting of multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
CIPET JEE Main exam will be of two hours with more advanced questions from the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Admit Card
Admit cards will be available for the eligible candidates on first week of July 2014 and can be downloaded from www.cipet.gov.in. The issue of admission call letters for the selected candidates will be the first week of August 2014.
Important dates
The JEE is scheduled to be held on July 13, 2014 and its results will be declared by first week of August 2014. The commencement of academic session is from August 11, 2014.
