Heriot-Watt University, Dubai, offers scholarships to deserving students on campus. The offer has four different kinds of scholarships: Merit scholarship, alumni scholarship, family scholarship and hardship scholarship.
The students in the merit list may qualify for a 100 per cent first year scholarship by direct entry into the second year of a bachelor programme. Merit students who are eligible to be admitted directly into second year but choose to join first year, will be awarded an annual merit scholarship of up to 25 per cent of the annual fees.
An alumni scholarship of 10 per cent of the published fee is awarded to students who have previously graduated from a degree in Heriot-Watt University. Family scholarships of AED 3,000 will be offered when two or more students from the same immediate family enroll for any full-time foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate programme.
Under the hardship scholarship, assistance with the payment of tuition fees may be available to help new and continuing undergraduate students who have experienced unforeseen circumstances and are therefore in need of financial assistance towards payment of tuition fees. This scholarship is only applicable for foundation and undergraduate students.

MPhil in biotechnology or environmental science or life sciences
MSc in biotechnology or environmental science or life sciences
Duration: Three years. It will cover Rs16,000 per month (first two years); Rs18,000 per month (third year).
