Some experiences in life provide an array of learning opportunities. Studying abroad that best matches your criteria and supports your strengths is one such life-changing experience. It will help you broaden your perspective and give you an edge when you step into the job market. Studying abroad is a great way to savour first-hand foreign culture. It also enhances your interpersonal as well as intrapersonal skills that goes a long way in your holistic development.

If you aspire to go overseas for your higher education, here are a few tips to get you going with your study abroad plans.

How to apply?

Even if you are keen about your choice of university, it is advisable that you apply to at least three universities as an option. There have been incidents when students have decided to go ahead with their second choice, and found that it was a wonderful stroke of luck.

When it comes to applying to a university abroad, students primarily do it through the university website. However, it is time consuming. With the advent of AI driven study abroad platforms like Edvoy, the application process has been simplified. Such platforms allow students to apply for five universities with one click. They just need to upload their documents, and they can track their application status. All this is done with complete transparency.

Leaving paperwork to the last minute equals major headaches. There is a list of important documents that are required while applying for a university. This list may vary, depending from university to university and country to country. However, in general, universities will require documents such as mark sheets of 10th to graduation, an updated resume, at least three letters of recommendation, Statement of Purpose, and experience letters if interned or worked.  You must also have completed English proficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL etc. and aptitude tests like GMAT, GRE, depending on university's preference.
