A newly married young man, trying to find an easy escape from discomforting domestic atmosphere came asking the other day: “For the last couple of months I have been desperately trying to seek a job away from my home townIJ When do you think it will come aboutIJ My wife is not able to withstand my mother’s hardened attitude, and therefore, she has been pestering me day in and day out to move out. Being the only child of my parents, I do not wish to hurt them, but at the same time, I do not wish my wife suffer from mental discomfort either. Kindly lead me through.”
“Do you think escape is going to resolve your issueIJ” I put up a counter question. The problem with you is that you are taking the problem at its face value. You need to strike at its root, which lies in your mental traits. Today, your mother’s attitude is in focus. Assuming, you move to some other city with a new job, not easy to secure in a stagnating economic scenario as of now, the focus will shift elsewhere, and if none else on each other.
Both of you wish to live on your exclusive terms more in a demanding mode, which you managed to enjoy before marriage. Pre-marriage, hardly there are occasions to independently deal with conflicting situations. For, the parents, out of sheer love for you, try to accommodate as much as would be possible. Following marriage, a new member comes into reckoning, which calls for necessary readjustments, which seems to be somehow lacking.
Remember, the world does not necessarily move to your asking. For, every living being is born unique, in terms of one’s perceptive and comprehensive abilities, prejudices and obsessions, habits and attitudes, and level of intelligence, often at cross purposes with each other. The world, thus, remains a natural breeding ground of conflicting thoughts and interests. life has to still keep marching ahead. That calls for the need to work out ways and means to be in accord with the rest, overriding all existential limitations, for a smooth run of life. Please make note of the fact that none of us could be ever born a perfect. But, if there are few weaknesses in a person, experience suggests that usually there are many more positives as well. The irony, however, is that invariably we get stuck to the negatives so much that the indwelling positives go out of sight. Possibly, your mother may be carrying some weaknesses, but your chart reveals that she should be a very well meaning person.
Remember, if at all some of your mother’s expectations and advisories provoke your wife, it is not necessary that your mother’s approach would be always flawed. It has more to do with how your wife comprehends and responds to them, which will be guided by her inherent habits and attitudes. That makes it incumbent upon her to look within, identify the indwelling weaknesses, which does not let her perceive issues in hand in the right perspective, and then address them. Following that, the very thought process will take a positive turn, and life will turn into a beautiful experience.
Be it known that world is made out in a way where no individual is capable of meeting existential needs by oneself. But in togetherness, we make out a self-sufficient wholesome world. That puts the whole world into a compulsive interdependent mechanism in support of each other. We need to live in conformity with this very nature’s mandate, for a smooth run of life.
You have already been made aware of what corrective initiatives you need to take. let me give you a brief on your wife’s personality traits. Her lagna lord Mars is debilitated, which together with the Sun, locks horns with Jupiter.
Read together with her Moon posited in fiery sign Aries, implies that she would be aggressive, impulsive, irritable, who may not like to play second fiddle to any. She has a swaggering ego that binds her to her self-assumed beliefs, and not prepared to digest anything to the contrary. Saturn placed adverse to Mercury speaks of a fixated one track mind. Moon placed opposite Saturn speaks of negative orientation of her mind, which makes her out and out a pessimist and cynic, suspicious of one and all, who habitually begins with a negative note. And the result is there for you to see. Your wife actually needs a lesson in the ‘art of living’.
