: XLRI has achieved a historic milestone in its Final Placements for the PGDM (BM) and PGDM (HRM) Batch of 2023-25, with the highest international package reaching ₹1.10 crore and the highest domestic package at ₹75 LPA. The placement season witnessed remarkable success despite economic challenges, reinforcing XLRI’s reputation as one of India’s leading B-schools.
A total of 591 students from XLRI Jamshedpur and XLRI Delhi NCR campuses participated in the recruitment process, with 172 recruiters extending over 600 offers, including two international placements and 41 new recruiters. The median salary stood at ₹29 LPA, while the top 10% of students secured an impressive ₹52.03 LPA, and the top 25% received ₹44.35 LPA.
The Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) rate stood at 34.17%, highlighting students’ outstanding performances during internships. The most sought-after sectors were Consulting, BFSI, and Sales & Marketing, with Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), EY Parthenon, PwC India, Reliance, and Kotak Mahindra Bank making the highest number of offers.
Consulting: 26% of the batch secured roles with firms like McKinsey, BCG, Bain & Co., Accenture Strategy, EY Parthenon, Kearney, PwC, Infosys, Aon, and KPMG. BFSI: 22% of students joined companies such as Goldman Sachs, Citi, Axis Bank, HDFC Ergo, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, NatWest, NPCI, Standard Chartered, HSBC, MasterCard, and Policy Bazaar.
Sales & Marketing: 18% of students were placed in leading firms including AbinBev, Adani Wilmar, Amul, Dabur, Godrej, HUL, ITC, Nestlé, P&G, Philip Morris International, Samsung, Tata Consumer Products, Asian Paints, Mondelez, Kraft Heinz, and L’Oréal.
XLRI strengthened its position as India’s top HR institute, with firms such as Amazon, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, Colgate-Palmolive, FedEx, Flipkart, HDFC Ergo, Ola, Reliance, ABG, Accenture TAP, Airtel, HUL, ITC, Sun Pharma, Tata Steel, Tata Electronics, and Vedanta hiring for roles in HR Consulting, Compensation & Benefits, HR Analytics, and Chief of Staff positions.
