A one-day training-cum workshop was organized by the District Supply Office on Tuesday on the direction of the Department of Food, Public, Distribution and Consumer Affairs. The workshop was inaugurated by MLA Dr. Rameshwar Oraon. On this occasion, he said that earlier the number of many such poor in our country was quite high who did not get ration. Many families were not named in food security schemes. The central government was giving ration with red and yellow ration cards but till now many families were deprived. Under the Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme, every member of the family gets five kg of food grains. Only grains are given in most states of the country. While rice, wheat, gram dal is also given in Jharkhand. I have also proposed to the government to give soybeans per family. A person needs food as well as clothes. The government is providing dhoti/lungi and saree per family twice a year.
For this, only ten rupees are being taken from the card holder. Currently, the government is paying farmers at the rate of Rs 2300 per quintal and Rs 100 as a bonus at a total rate of Rs 2400 per quintal. Motivate the missing farmers to take advantage of this scheme by depositing their paddy in the lamps. Also, check farmers who give their paddy in unusual quantities to lamps. Zilla Parishad President Reena Kumari said that still a ration card of many needy people has not been made.
The facility is being provided by the government but people are deprived. Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat said that providing bread, clothes and houses to the needy people is a priority of the district administration. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Abua Awas Yojana are being given to the people by the Rural Development Department. Hundred percent achievement is to be achieved in paddy procurement. Inspire farmers to sell their paddy in lamps as well. PVTG Postman Scheme should be good to 100 percent of the beneficiary. District Supply Officer Gyan Shankar Jaiswal said that e-KYC of all card holders and their family members is being done.
For this, special e-KYC week is being celebrated. Farmers are being paid the amount of paddy procurement in time. In the training, training was given in the e-posted machine (4G), paddy procurement, e-KYC etc. Additional Collector Jitendra Munda, MLA Representative Nishith Jaiswal, District Agricultural Officer Kalen Khalkho, District Cooperative Officer, Block Development Officer and all block supply officers, all marketing officers, ration dealers and others were present in the program.
