A weekly public grievance meeting, known as 'Janata Darbar', was held at the Collectorate. The meeting was chaired by the District Supply Officer, Ram Gopal Pandey.
Villagers raised concerns about issues such as ration, pensions, housing, and employment. Their grievances were heard, and officials were instructed to address them.
Several women from Kharshota complained that eligible beneficiaries were not receiving benefits from the 'Abua Awas' scheme. They alleged that ineligible beneficiaries were receiving benefits in exchange for money, and that eligible beneficiaries were being asked for bribes.
Devanath Ram, from Hariharpur village, submitted an application stating that descendants of a former landowner were illegally occupying houses and land. He alleged they were harassing and persecuting poor Scheduled Caste and weaker sections of society. He requested action to be taken.
Women from Sundhi Tola village complained that they had not received benefits from the Chief Minister's Bal Aashirwad scheme. They had submitted the required forms, but their children had not received the benefits. They requested the District Supply Officer to ensure they receive the benefits.
Rampravesh Paswan and Shobha Devi, from Parihara village, informed the District Supply Officer that they had been denied benefits from the 'Abua Awas' scheme by the panchayat secretary. The secretary had declared them ineligible by falsely claiming they had a pucca house. They requested an investigation and the provision of 'Abua Awas' to eligible beneficiaries.
Other individuals also raised various issues. The concerned officials were instructed to take necessary action to resolve the complaints.
