Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that only the Guru takes us from darkness to light. The Guru identifies the infinite potential inherent in his student and nurtures his character during education. Our ancient Gurukul tradition is still relevant today. Today, many developed countries are adopting our old Gurukul tradition and educating their children. We too will have to reconnect with the same Gurukul tradition, only then will our country be able to become a world leader again. We are moving towards the holistic development of students in the state by imparting life and moral values and practical education to them inside and outside the class.
By radically improving educational quality, we will make the state a model education state of the country. Teachers have a crucial role to play in this.
Yadav was addressing the selected teachers departing to Singapore for an international educational tour under the STARS project on Sunday connecting virtually, from Ujjain. He said that teachers are always respectable to us, and we will make maximum use of their infinite capabilities and long experiences in the educational development and expansion of the state in creating a Vikasit Bharat and a Vikasit Madhya Pradesh.
Yadav said that our history has been rich in the educational scenario. Nalanda, Takshashila, Vikramshila universities, and many other world-renowned educational institutions including Ujjain’s Sandipani Ashram did the nation a favour by providing high-quality education in those times. At that time, the Gurus had a vision to recognize the art skill and aptittude of their students, this was the reason that Lord Shri Ram-Lakshman and Shri Krishna also took education from their Gurus.
The Chief Minister said that we want to develop the same vision of the Guru in today’s teachers as well. The teachers selected for the Singapore tour should understand this opportunity well, learn new techniques of teaching and on returning, provide the benefit of those techniques to the students of the state, so that they stand out in their academic performance and character.
He said that the selected teachers should learn the benefits of conducting foreign studies, as well as share their country’s goodness with the world so that various educational cultures and innovations can also be exchanged.
Yadav said that the identity of the country and the state will be established in the world only with the active participation of teachers. He encouraged and wished all the teachers of the state selected for the international educational tour (to Singapore) for a successful and pleasant educational tour. School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh flagged off the teachers’ foreign tour team bus from the Subhash School of Excellence Bhopal campus.
School Education Minister Singh said on this occasion that our government has made many innovations for the educational development of the state. We are making efforts with great sensitivity to improve the quality of education. Teachers are the pivot of our education system. It is their teaching skills and behaviour that inspire society. All the teachers selected for foreign study will become master trainers of our state. We will utilize their expertise and characteristics in developing the educational scenario of the state.
He told the selected teachers and officials to take full advantage of this historic opportunity.
Try to learn more in less time, because the future of the students of the state is in the hands of the teachers. Whatever new techniques, and new skills the teachers learn, we will ensure that the students get maximum benefit from them.
