West Central Railway General Manager Shrimati Shobhana Bandyopadhyaya conducted a review meeting at the Divisional Office in Bhopal on Monday, March 3, 2025. During the meeting, she reviewed key ongoing projects in the division and directed officials to expedite the work.
Following the meeting, she conducted a safety inspection of the Bhopal-Itarsi railway section. The meeting was attended by Divisional Railway Manager Shri Devashish Tripathi, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Chief Project Manager (Gati Shakti), and other senior divisional officers.
The General Manager assessed the progress of station redevelopment projects under the Amrit Station Scheme in the Bhopal division.
She instructed officials to ensure quality work and complete the projects within the stipulated time so that passengers could benefit from modern amenities at the earliest, while also contributing to an increase in railway revenue.She also reviewed the progress of the Bhopal-Ramganj Mandi new railway line project, emphasizing its significance for regional development and passenger convenience.
She highlighted that the new railway line would enhance freight transportation capacity.
