Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDI and Roopali Gupta, President, Kasturi Mahila Sabha (KMS) inaugurated the three day long “Umang”: Funxhibition at Rabindra Bhawan, CMPDI. The event is being organised by Forum of Women in Public Sector (WIPS), CMPDI Branch and KMS, CMPDI.
The exhibition-cum-fair will run from 21.03.2025 to 23.03.2025. Kumar in his address said that the objective of the fair is to empower the rural women and provide a platform for small entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their products and also to promote usage of natural and eco-friendly things like clay, jute, wooden products and bamboo, etc.
In this fair, about 50 stalls related to fashionable garments/sarees, exquisite jewellery, household treasures, art & decor, decorative plants, and delicious food have been set up.
The occasion was also graced by Sushma Bharti; Punam singh, Coordinator-WIPS; Dipti Pillai, Treasurer-WIPS; Charu Oberoi, Secretary -WIPS; Anju Singh, Secretary, KMS and other members of WIPS and KMS were also present on this occasion.
