A two-day disaster management seminar for field police officers from across Madhya Pradesh commenced on Tuesday at the Madhya Pradesh Police Academy in Bhori.
The training session is being led by Additional Director General of Police (Training) Rajababu Singh, who also served as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. Upon his arrival, Singh was accorded an armed guard salute and welcomed by academy officials.
Assistant Director (Administration and Basic Training) Neeraj Pandey formally opened the session by presenting a plant to the chief guest and delivering the welcome address. The seminar aims to enhance disaster response capabilities among field officers, and ADGP Singh played a key role in organizing the event by inviting seasoned experts from the BSF Tekanpur and the NDRF.
In his inaugural address, Singh drew upon his extensive policing experience, which includes significant tenures with the Madhya Pradesh Police, deputation to the ITBP and BSF, and his role as IG BSF Kashmir, to provide valuable insights into disaster preparedness and response.
Assistant Director (Seminar) and AIG (Training) Shraddha Joshi presented a memento to the chief guest and outlined the seminar's schedule. The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Assistant Director Sampada Yasmin Jaihra.
