Jharkhand ATS Palamu and Ramgarh police team jointly took action and arrested two notorious criminals of Aman Sahu (deceased) gang. The arrested criminals include Hari Tiwari and Ashish Sahu. Palamu police had issued a warrant against Hari Tiwari. Ramgarh police had taken a warrant from the court against Ashish Sahu.
Meanwhile, ATS received information that both the criminals were hiding in Ranchi. After which, on the information of ATS, the police of Palamu and Ramgarh district jointly raided and arrested both the criminals. While Palamu police took Hari Tiwari with them, Ashish Sahu was arrested by Ramgarh police.
Meanwhile, a farmer Rajkumar Mahto has been injured in the firing incident that took place on Sunday in Piska Nagri police station area of Ranchi district. Rajkumar Mahto has been admitted to RIMS for treatment. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
The incident took place in Saher village of Piska Nagari. According to the police, farmer Rajkumar Mahato was plucking vegetables in his field at around 8:30 am on Sunday morning. Meanwhile, two-three criminals riding on two bikes shot at him and started running away.
When the criminals were running away after shooting the farmer, one of the bikes did not start. The criminals left the damaged bike at the scene and fled on the same bike. The police have seized the bike and are trying to find out whose bike it is.
The police said that the criminals fired three bullets at the farmer, one of which hit farmer Rajkumar Mahato in the stomach. His condition remains critical in RIMS. The police have detained some people on suspicion of being involved in this incident. They are being questioned.
