State will get thousands of crores worth of gifts from Budget: Shahdeo

BJP State Spokesperson Pratul Shahdev held a press conference on the gifts received by Jharkhand in the Union Budget at the party's Khunti District Office. BJP District President Chandrashekhar Gupta and Adarsh Anshul were also present on this occasion.

Pratul said that Jharkhand will directly benefit from thousands of crores worth of schemes of the Union Budget. Pratul Shahdev said that there is a provision in the budget to connect all the schools and primary health centers across the country with broadband under the Bharat Net project. This will directly benefit 30 thousand schools and thousands of primary health centers of Jharkhand. He said that 100 districts across the country are being connected with the PM Dhan-Dhanya project, in which farmers of 18 districts of Jharkhand are expected to benefit.

Pratul said that a provision has been made to give loans up to two crores to ST, SC sisters without any kind of guarantee, which will directly benefit the ST-SC sisters here. Pratul Shahdev said that an allocation of one lakh crore rupees will be made by the central government for cities across the country. Five cities of Jharkhand are included in the list of such cities across the country.

Pratul said that under Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0, there is a provision in the budget for special assistance to 6850 Anganwadi centers of Jharkhand which are upgraded. This will help in removing malnutrition of malnourished children across the state. The amount of Kisan Credit Card has now been increased from three to five lakh rupees. 14 lakh KCC holder farmers of Jharkhand will get its benefit and farming will be promoted.

Pratul said that 75 thousand seats have been increased in medical colleges across the country. About 1000 seats will be increased in six medical college hospitals of Jharkhand. The central government will give interest-free loan up to Rs 1.5 lakh to the states to strengthen the infrastructure, so that the Jharkhand government will also be able to improve the infrastructure of the state. Cancer day care centers will be opened in all Sadar hospitals. Under this, the way has been cleared for opening these centers in 24 Sadar hospitals of Jharkhand. The term of the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme has been extended to 2028. Till now, tap water has not reached 28 lakh 36 thousand 793 houses in Jharkhand. Water can now be delivered to these homes.

Pratul Shahdev said that this time the central government has also taken care of gig workers (those doing contract-based jobs through online platforms). After their registration in the labour portal, provision has been made in the budget to provide them insurance up to Rs 5 lakh. This will benefit 50 thousand gig workers of Jharkhand. At the same time, provision has also been made in the Union Budget for the development of other tourist places including Tilaiya and Tenughat Dam.
