State students conquer JEE Mains, achieve exceptional results in Session 1

The results for the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025 were announced by the National Testing Agency on Tuesday. Students of various schools from across the State have proved their mettle and triumphantly passed the examination.

The first session of JEE Main 2025 was conducted from January 22 to January 31 while the second session is scheduled to take place from April 1 to April 15.

As many as 16 students of Delhi Public School, Ranchi have scored above 99 percentile, 49 have scored 95 and above percentile while 65 have managed to score 90 and above percentile.

Among the top scorers of the school, Tejas Tanay stood out as the highest scorer with a percentile of 99.8382367. Other students who scored above the 99 percentile mark include, Ravi Narain, Akash Sahu and Rudraksh Rai to name a few. Principal Dr. R.K. Jha extended his heartfelt congratulations to the students, parents and teachers for this monumental success and also wished the students the best for their upcoming JEE Advanced examinations. 

Students of Sarla Birla Public School, Ranchi have also performed exceptionally well in JEE Mains 2025.  As per the information received, Saksham Goyal secured 99.8454085 percentile followed by Shivam Mishra with 98.8190388 percentile, Rupesh Anand with 98.3317328 percentile and  Shanvi Snehal with 95.9218264 percentile. Principal Paramjit Kaur lauded the exemplary achievement of the students and wished them the best for JEE Advanced.

Students of The Pentecostal Assembly School, Bokaro have delivered outstanding results in JEE Mains 2025. Topping the list is Md. Hasan Rahmani with an impressive 99.9 percentile, followed by Karan Singh (97.8 percentile) and Prachi Choudhary (97.2 percentile) while Ashok Kumar, Himanshu Sharma, Aryan, Purushottam Narayan, and Nafisa Ali also achieved remarkable scores above 91 percentile.

Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad expressed pride in the students' achievements, recalling their journey since 2013. Director Dr. D.N. Prasad, CAO Rita Prasad, and Administrative Officer Daniel Michael Prasad also applauded the students and faculty.

As many as 3,350 candidates appeared for the exam at two centres in Bokaro.  Students of DPS Bokaro have excelled in JEE Main 2025, with over 50 students securing impressive scores. Arush Banerjee topped the school with 99.76 percentile, followed by Prince Kumar Pandey (99.65) and Ujjwal Singh (99.20). Many others scored above 90 percentile, reinforcing the school's academic excellence.

Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar, also the NTA City Coordinator, congratulated the students and wished them success in future exams.

Students of Mithila Academy Public School, Bokaro have brought pride to their school and city with outstanding performances in the JEE Main examination. Piyush Jha secured an impressive 99.77 percentile, making his parents, school, and the city proud. His parents, Bina Jha and Sanjeev Jha, credited the school's management and teachers for his success.

Additionally, Sujal Raj and Harshit Verma achieved 99.38 and 98.53 percentiles, respectively, further adding to the school's accolades. School Chairman  Harimohan Jha highlighted that this success is a result of hard work and relentless efforts. Secretary Pramod Kumar Jha felicitated the achievers with bouquets and expressed gratitude to the dedicated teachers who conducted special preparatory classes.

From the city of Jamshedpur, Imran Wakil, a 12th grade student of Jusco South School Park (JSSP) has scored an impressive 99.80 percentile. 

Mili Sinha, Principal of Jusco School South Park, expressed her happiness and praised Imran’s dedication and determination. “Imran has been a student of our school since childhood. We have always admired his focus and commitment towards his goals. Today, JSSP is proud of his stellar performance in JEE Main. I congratulate Imran on his brilliant success and extend my best wishes for his upcoming JEE Advanced examination.” 

As many as 88 students from Narayana institute in Jamshedpur have also cleared the examination with flying colours and scored above 90 percentile. As per the information received, students who have scored above 97 percentile include Ujjwal Aditya (99.9800783), Dhruv H. Badodaria (99.8748924), Ashwini Kumar (99.8452369), Imran Wakil (99.8055941) and Aditya Prabhat (99.7889506) to name a few.

More than 30 students of DAV Public School, Hazaribag, have achieved outstanding results in the JEE Main session- 1, 2025. Aman Pandit (98.78 percentile), Sapna Kumari (98.69), Abhijeet Satyam (94.66), Aryan Kumar (93.51) and Shubham Prasad (92.45) are some of the top scorers from the school. Principal Dr Rajneesh Kumar expressed high praise for the students and teachers for their consistent hard work and meticulous planning. “From the next academic year we will provide special guidance for the preparation of JEE mains, NEET and CLAT examinations so that our students excel in every field of life and achieve better life prospects,” added Kumar.
