Jharkhand incharge of the Congress party K Raju was in Daltonganj today. He and his team including the state president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh and former union minister Subodh Kant Sahay and others had an interactive session with the party workers of Palamu, Latehar and Garhwa districts.
The worker's meet after the debacle of the Congress here in Palamu in the vidhan sabha election where the Congress could win just one seat Chhaterpur while its Daltonganj seat was sabotaged by none else than the Congress people itself, gains significance as Raju repeatedly told the mediapersons here about the unification of the party workers.
A fleet of the unified party workers is a stronger sign of strong organisational skills of the Congress party.
At the press conference here today Raju made it clear that he was touring districts in Jharkhand to connect with the party workers. He meant it. He is trying to demolish the culture of leaders' alienation of the party workers.
Congress state media cell lags behind the BJP's one. It needs to be smarter and people friendly instead of 'Hato Barho' (leave move) rhetoric.
Mediapersons found a human wall before K Raju and others forcing this correspondent to speak loudly 'Mr Jharkhand incharge you are audible but not visible to media as your men standing in chaotic manner have almost covered and shadowed you."
Raju taking an immediate note of this inconvenience to the mediapersons offered to address press conference standing whereupon he was suggested to keep seating while the scribes carried their professional duties standing.
