Sarhul/Baha Milan Samaroh was organized by the officials and employees of the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat here on Monday. As the programme started with due rituals, MLA Rajesh Kachhap threw light on the nature festival Sarhul through his address; he said that tribal society worships nature. Our Ishta Dev is also worshipped in the form of nature. Due to the union of sunlight and creativity of the earth, new flowers and fruits appear in the trees and plants, the crops flourish on the arrival of new season, all these occasions are celebrated collectively by the nature-worshipping tribal society as festivals. In the same way, Sarhul/Baha festival is a big festival of the tribal society.
Minister Radhakrishna Kishore said in his address that today the whole world is making big plans for the conservation of the environment, Sarhul/Baha festival inspires us towards environmental conservation. On this occasion, students from different Universities performed their dances and music based on different styles of tribal society.
Speaker of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Rabindranath Mahato, who could not attend the program due to unavoidable reasons, wished all the officers and staff including the organizing committee on the occasion of Sarhul/Baha Milan Samaroh. The program was conducted by Anoop Kachhap, Branch Officer, Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.
Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Radhakrishna Kishore, Member Rajesh Kachhap, Secretary-in-Charge Manik Lal Hembram, officers and employees of the Assembly Secretariat and other distinguished guests were present in the program.
