Sant Ravidas Jayanti celebrated in Lohardaga

A grand event of Sant Shiromani Ravidas Jayanti celebrations was held at the local Nagar Bhavan on Wednesday under the aegis of Ravidas Vikas Manch Lohardaga unit. Expressing his views, MLA Dr. Rameshwar Oraon, as the chief guest at the program, said that the society in which women walk shoulder to shoulder with men, that society is called a developed society. The number of women in the ceremony is high, that is, there is a conscious society. 

Special guest Deputy Commissioner Dr. Vaghmare Prasad Krishna expressed his views and said that Sant Ravidas has done the work of doing social service on the basis of works, his thoughts are still relevant today. His ideas need to be assimilated. There is a need to adopt the weapon of education. 

Superintendent of Police Haris bin Zaman expressed his views and said that Saint Shiromani Ravidas Ji Maharaj was born during the devotional period, worked to connect God through devotion. He tried to remove the disparities prevailing in the society.  

Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Singh Shekhawat will have to remove the evils of education and adopt the weapon of education. The young partner should raise his voice, take initiative to promote humanity while getting organized. 

The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Rameshwar Oraon, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna, Superintendent of Police Harish Bin Zaman, Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Singh Shekhawat District Council President Reena Kumari jointly lit the lamp and wreath on the picture of Sant Ravidas ji. Welcome songs, Ganesh Vandana and Santhali dance were performed by the children of the society.

The welcome speech at the program was given by the chairman of the organizing committee, Budh Ram. The program was conducted by Arun Ram, member of the organizing committee, Santosh Kumar Ravi. They also expressed their views Lakhan Ram, Gopal Ram, Krishna Ram, Vishwa Narayan Ram, Santan Ram, Shankar Ram, Ishwar Ram, Anil Ravidas and others played a crucial role in making the function a success. A cultural program was presented by Sandhya Kumari, Soumya Vaishnavi, Nandani Kumari, Tannu Kumari, Archana Kumari, Surabhi Kumari, Aarti Kumari, Princi Soni, Shruti Kumari.
