Salima Tete and Nikki Pradhan get land to build home in Ranchi

Chief Minister Hemant Soren handed over the papers for allotment of 3750 square feet plot to two women hockey players of Jharkhand, Salima Tete and Nikki Pradhan, in the residential colony located at Harmu in Ranchi.

This honour has been given to these players for their excellent performance in hockey and bringing laurels to the state and the country. With this step of the Chief Minister, the dream of Salima and Nikki to have their own house in Ranchi has been fulfilled. They have been allotted 3750 square feet plot in plot number 10B and 10A of Harmu Residential Colony.

On this occasion, Soren said that today is a day of excitement. Two promising hockey player daughters of the state are being honored. Our daughters have brought laurels not only to the state but to the entire country with their skill and ability, he said.

Soren said that for the last several decades, the daughters of Jharkhand have created a distinct identity in the country and the world by showcasing their talent in different fields. "Many times, due to their performance, our daughters have surprised people that in a backward and tribal area like Jharkhand, such a big success can be achieved by preparing with limited resources," he said.

The Chief Minister said that on many such occasions it was seen that the players of the state have proved their talent in the country and the world. "Our government has focused on sports and has worked to find new ways, so that the youth here are getting a chance to hone their talent. Our government has successfully organized many big sports competitions along with international hockey matches in Ranchi. Such sports events are giving better opportunities to the players here to move forward. Sports is a better medium to develop a healthy mindset," he said.

Soren said that the decision to give plots in Ranchi to Salima Tete and Nikki Pradhan was taken by our government. "Today we are fulfilling this promise. Along with giving the plot, the Chief Minister also announced that the state government will provide Rs 35 lakh each to these two players under the sports policy to build their homes," he said.

The Chief Minister said that even though these star daughters of ours may have become financially strong with time, but during the days of struggle, when I visited their villages and saw their economic condition, I am fulfilling the promise made at that time today. Am. The honour being given to these daughters today will become a symbol of hope and opportunity for other daughters and youth of the state, inspired by them, other players of the state will work to improve their skills and performance, he said.

 

On this occasion, Salima Tete and Nikki Pradhan expressed their gratitude to the CM and thanked him. Tete said that today I am feeling very good as the CM has fulfilled the promise he had made Tete said that if you do any work with all your heart, you will definitely reach your destination one day. Recently, the Women's Hockey India League was successfully organized in Ranchi. The CM also came to watch the match and was very happy.

 

On the occasion, Nikki Pradhan said that when we reached Ranchi after my first Olympic participation in the year 2021, the Chief Minister had promised to give land in this auditorium. Today he fulfilled his promise. Now my dream of having my own house in Ranchi is being fulfilled. Heartfelt thanks to the Chief Minister! On this occasion, the Chief Minister and other guests honuored the coach, parents and other family members of both the players by presenting them with shawls and bouquets.
