The Ranchi district administration has started preparations for the Indian Air Force Air Show which is scheduled to be held on April 19 and April 20 at Khoja Toli Army Ground, Namkum, Ranchi.

In this regard , Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate, Ranchi,  Manjunath Bhajantri held an important meeting with senior officers of the Air Force, Police and District Administration in his chamber on Friday. 

In the meeting, all aspects of the preparations for the air show were discussed in detail and many necessary guidelines were given.

The Deputy Commissioner directed to complete the following arrangements in a timely manner for this air show to be held at Khoja Toli Army Ground. Such as-Drinking water, barricading, toilets, medical team, ambulance, fire brigade, bomb disposal squad and accommodation for visitors.

Media management, vehicle arrangements and other related arrangements were also discussed.
Bhajantri directed the deployment of magistrates and police officers to maintain law and order during the air show. Also, he assured the Air Force officials that all possible cooperation will be provided by the district administration. Apart from this, instructions were also given to ensure wide publicity of the air show.

Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), Ranchi, Utkarsh Kumar has been appointed as the nodal officer for the coordination and smooth conduct of the air show.
