Governor Mangubhai Patel performed the Bhoomi Pujan on Thursday for the renovation and strengthening of entrance gates number 1 and 2 of Raj Bhavan. The ceremony was conducted with traditional rituals, and the Governor formally inaugurated the construction work by turning the soil with a hoe. The Bhoomi Pujan event took place at entrance gate number 1 of Raj Bhavan.
Patel during the program, reviewed the details of the renovation and strengthening project. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high quality standards in the construction work and instructed the agency to ensure timely completion. The total estimated cost of the renovation and strengthening of both entrance gates is Rs 66 Lakhs 32 Thousand 900Hundred.
On this occasion, Additional Secretary to Governor Umashankar Bhargava, Special Duty Officer Arvind Purohit, Public Works Department's Superintendent Engineer Avnindra Singh, Executive Engineer Rakesh Nigam and SDO L.K. Gupta, Controller Household Raj Bhavan Smt. Shilpi Diwakar and officers and employees of Raj Bhavan were present.
