Under the ICT scheme operated in the state, ICT labs have been installed in 5,300 government schools. Under this, students from class 6 to class 12 are being taught computer subjects through ICT trainers in ICT labs. In the current session, the online examination for the evaluation of the learning level of students on computer subject in the classes conducted as per the prescribed syllabus from the beginning of the session to December 2024 started from January 8, 2025. So far, 1,82,362 students from class 9 to class 12 have participated in this examination. These include 68,834 boys and 1,13,528 girls.
So far this online evaluation examination has been completed in 2,494 secondary and higher secondary schools of the state. In class 9, the highest number of 6,892 students have taken the examination in Dhanbad so far. So far, the highest number of 5,812 students have appeared for the Class 10 exam in Giridih. In Class 11th and 12th also, the highest number of 3,646 students from Giridih have appeared for the online assessment exam. The online assessment exam for students up to Class 7 and Class 8 will be completed by January 16, 2025. The result of the exam will be published after January 17, 2025.
A total of 30 questions were asked in the online assessment exam conducted for the students. All of these were objective type questions. The questions were made available to the schools through the J-Guruji app. The exam was conducted in two batches at an interval of 10 minutes. The continuous monitoring of the exam was done by the District ICT Scheme Incharge, District Coordinator under the guidance of the District Program Officer.
