There will be no sitting in the morning courts in all the subordinate courts in Jharkhand.
The High Court of Jharkhand Ranchi has suspended note 1 rule 1 of the civil courts rules of the High Court of Jharkhand thereby suspending the authority of the principal district and sessions judges to have timing of the courts depending on the nature of climate/ season.
All subordinate courts of Jharkhand will function as usual from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Summer season used to see morning civil courts. However this summer it has been put off under order of the High Court of Jharkhand Ranchi.
There will be no morning sittings of the subordinate courts this summer of 2025.
Secretary Palamu DLSA Arpit Shrivastava has confirmed the suspension of the sittings of the civil courts in the morning in the summer here.
The registrar general of the High Court of Jharkhand Ranchi Manoj Prasad has sent a missive to this effect to all the principal district and sessions judges and judicial commissioner Ranchi not to commence sitting of the civil courts in the morning.
