New industries of Rs 500 cr to be established in Rajgarh region

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that industrial units would be established across various sectors in Rajgarh with an investment of approximately Rs 500 crore. He highlighted that during the recently held Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, investment proposals worth Rs 30 lakh crore were received for the state, ensuring benefits for every region. The Chief Minister also stated that vacant positions for both police personnel and school teachers are being filled. He assured that following the inauguration of the Rajgarh District Hospital, the region will soon receive the gift of a medical college. Additionally, he emphasized the development of a 275 km long railway line from Ramganj Mandi to Bhopal, further boosting connectivity and progress. During the event, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed benefits to beneficiaries of various government schemes, including the Swamitva Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, and the Food Processing Unit Scheme.

 Yadav was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Shaurya Smarak, the District Hospital, and the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for the night shelter building, new school building, and law college in Rajgarh on Sunday. During his speech, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted various public welfare schemes, including Ladli Laxmi, Ladli Behna Yojana, Ujjwala Cooking Gas Scheme, and Free Food Distribution, emphasizing that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development is progressing in every sector. He also announced that helipads would be constructed in every assembly constituency.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the implementation of state and central government schemes would bring prosperity to farmers’ lives. He urged farmers not to sell their land, as upcoming projects will significantly enhance the region’s growth. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal river linking irrigation project, stating that it will transform both the geography and future of the Rajgarh region. He recalled that two decades ago, the area faced severe drought issues, but the pace of development has accelerated over the years. He assured that rapid progress will continue in the coming times. The Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project will benefit Rajgarh, Narsinghgarh, Biaora, Sarangpur, and Khilchipur. Additionally, the construction of four-lane roads, the Mohanpura-Kundalia project, and new industrial investments will further drive the region’s transformation and economic growth.

Yadav announced that 10 lakh solar-powered electric pumps would be installed annually for farmers, with a total of 30 lakh solar pumps to be set up over the next three years. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also emphasized the government’s commitment to women's empowerment through self-reliance and self-employment. He stated that industries based on women’s labour, especially in the ready-made garment sector, will receive incentives of Rs 5,000 per female worker.

Yadav started his address by hailing Maa Jalpa Devi and Bhainswa Mata, the symbols of people’s faith in Rajgarh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the citizens of the Rajgarh district are hardworking. Not only this, but the citizens who are firm and determined to follow Indian culture are the actual identity of Rajgarh. The taste of Dal-Baati and Dal-Bafla of this region is also unique.

Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Rajgarh District Incharge Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Skill Development and Employment Department Gautam Tetwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Narayan Singh Panwar, MP Rodmal Nagar and local MLA in their addresses expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for the gifts given to the district.
