Tata Steel UISL inaugurated state-of-the-art Modular Biogas Plants at GT Hostel and United Club. The facility was inaugurated by Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, and Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel UISL.
The biogas plants, with a feeding capacity of up to 200 kg per day and a gas production of 8 kg per day for each plant, are a testament to Tata Steel UISL's commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly energy solutions.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Varun Bajaj, Chief Town Infrastructure & Logistics; Rabindra Kumar Singh, General Manager, Town O&M, Jyoti Prakash, CFO, Tata Steel UISL and Ravish Kumar, President, JHRA.
Developed and implemented by Tata Steel UISL, these facilities aim to reduce organic waste and harness renewable energy, aligning with the company’s vision for a greener and more sustainable future.
