Modi’s vision transformed global perception of India: VD

Monday, 31 March 2025 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Bharatiya Janata Party’s State President and MP Vishnudutt Sharma on Sunday addressed the concluding session of the two-day ‘I Am BJP Future Force’ boot camp at the State Museum. During the event, MP Bansuri Swaraj, Minister Vishvas Sarang, Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, and Dr. Anirban Ganguly, Chairman of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Research Foundation, also addressed various sessions.

In his address, BJP State President and MP Vishnudutt Sharma stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and working style have changed the world’s perception of India. He emphasized that PM Modi is working towards making India a developed nation by 2047, and to achieve this goal, professionals and intellectuals from various fields are being associated with the BJP.

MP Bansuri Swaraj highlighted that the BJP is the world’s largest political organization, not just a political party but also a social movement with a distinct ideology. Minister Vishvas Sarang remarked that the BJP is dedicated to good governance and public service, and PM Modi wants people from all fields to actively participate in politics for holistic national development.

Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava underlined the need for professionals to understand public issues, aspirations, and policymaking to drive the country forward. Meanwhile, Dr. Anirban Ganguly stated that the BJP operates democratically, and though there may be variations in workers’ tasks, the party’s vision remains unified.

Addressing the concluding session, Vishnudutt Sharma stated that PM Modi is working to eliminate casteism and dynastic politics from Indian politics. He pointed out that except for the BJP, most political parties have turned into family-run entities. To ensure political transparency and national development, PM Modi has initiated the integration of intellectuals into the party.

Recalling PM Modi’s Independence Day speech, he mentioned that the Prime Minister called upon one lakh individuals with no political background to join politics. The ‘I Am BJP Future Force’ campaign is part of this initiative, aimed at encouraging intellectuals and professionals to join the party.

Citing an example of PM Modi’s leadership, Sharma recounted the Gujarat power crisis when Modi was first elected Chief Minister. Despite the lack of major rivers and coal reserves in Gujarat, PM Modi insisted on achieving self-sufficiency in electricity production, leading officials to devise a plan within hours. This, Sharma said, is the essence of visionary development.

Sharma noted that PM Modi’s governance has brought transformative changes in India. When the Jan Dhan Yojana was launched in 2014, opposition leaders mocked the initiative, but today, the same accounts receive direct benefits from central and state welfare schemes, eliminating corruption.

Similarly, PM Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was ridiculed by opposition parties, but the campaign has now gained massive public support, leading to greater public awareness of cleanliness.

Sharma further emphasized that PM Modi has strengthened women’s political participation by passing a law reserving 33% of seats for women in Parliament and state assemblies. He added that empowering women leaders is essential for national and societal progress, not just in India but globally.

Highlighting Modi’s commitment to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s Antyodaya philosophy, Sharma stated that 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty under his leadership. India is progressing rapidly in every sector, and he urged professionals and intellectuals to join the BJP in shaping the nation’s future.
