The Department of Mineral Resources MP has imposed a fine of Rs 24.5 crore on Moin Khan and his three associates who are absconding in the fake call center case in Bhopal, penalty was imposed in the case of illegal excavation, they were engaged in illegally.
Moin Khan, a former BJP leader, is accused of operating an illegal crusher along with his two associates. Due to the big action of the Mineral Department after the police, Moin and his relatives have gone underground. The houses of Moin and his close ones are locked.
Illegal excavation was going on even after the lease expired
According to Prashant Tiwari, Mineral Officer of Tikamgarh, the team of Mineral Department and SDM had recently raided Prempura village.
During this, it was found that despite the expiry of the lease, illegal excavation was being done and a crusher was being run. After measuring the illegal excavation and storage, the team has issued notices to the accused by imposing a fine of Rs 24 crore 50 lakh.
Three teams of Bhopal Police are searching for accused Moin, his sister Zahida and brother. Bhopal Police is also searching for TI Jitendra Garhwal, ASI Pawan Raghuvanshi, ASI Manoj Singh and Head Constable Dharmendra, who are absconding on corruption charges for demanding Rs 25 lakh in exchange for not making Moin an accused.
Moin's close BJP councilor Mona Jain, who came to Bhopal to deal in exchange for Moin, is also absconding. His last location was traced to Ujjain.
Another aspect related to this case is that Moin Khan is the brother-in-law of Afzal Khan, the main accused in the fake call center case of Bhopal. According to the police, Afzal Khan invested the illegal money he earned through Moin Khan in buying land in Tikamgarh and in other business.
