As a part of ongoing efforts to improve accountability and punctuality, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will now prepare salary based on mobile app attendance of its employees from March 2025 onwards.
MCD employees will get salary as per the attendance marked through the MCD Smart mobile app. Those employees who do not mark attendance through the mobile app will get salary only for the number of days for which they have marked online attendance.
The salary linked to attendance mechanism has been implemented for employees of finance department in the month of February 2025. This mechanism will now be implemented in all departments of MCD in headquarter and in all zones in subsequent months.
