BJP state president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi again targeted the state government today. Marandi wrote on social media that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started the world's largest health scheme Ayushman Bharat from the land of Jharkhand, but now an impractical decision of the Jharkhand government has created problems for the common people.
Marandi said that under Ayushman Bharat, the Jharkhand government has issued a new rule, in which only private hospitals with 50 beds (urban) and 30 beds (rural) will be included in the scheme. This will exclude hundreds of small hospitals, due to which poor patients will face problems in treatment. Especially in rural areas, where there is more dependence on small hospitals, patients will have to go to expensive and far-off big hospitals. This will further limit health services for the poor.
He said that the state government should reconsider this decision and withdraw it immediately, so that no person is deprived of the benefits of Ayushman Yojana.
He said that if there is any irregularity, then investigate it and take strict action against the culprits. But do not give such orders due to which someone has to be deprived of the benefits of Ayushman Yojana.
