A momentous occasion of awarding the achievements of the students, over last year was celebrated as college Annual Day at Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC).
Dr Sushil Kumar Singh, Director Medical Education (Jharkhand), Professor and Principal Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College, Hazaribagh, graced the occasion as the chief guest witnessing the recognition of excellence of students and faculty.
Dr G Pradeep Kumar, Dean MTMC, emphasized the important milestones and achievements of medical and allied health students and faculties of MTMC in his annual report.
Purvika Jain, President student council of MTMC, highlighted the student engagements and progress done by the student body in the fields of Sports, Cultural, Literary, Research and volunteering activities in the past one year.
The 41 student academic excellence awards were given to MBBS and Allied health students for their academic achievements. The student’s exemplary performance in sports, cultural and literary activities were awarded the certificate of appreciation.
The faculties of MBBS and AHS were recognised for their excellence in teaching and research and were awarded the certificate of appreciation.
The event concluded with the cultural performance by the students, taking the trip down the memory lane depicting the growth of MTMC over the years.
