Mandla Collector Somesh Mishra has taken an innovative step by writing a motivational letter, titled Collector's Letter, addressed to students of all government and private schools in Mandla district. In his letter, he encourages students preparing for their annual examinations, emphasizing that exam time is an opportunity to showcase their year-long hard work and dedication.
The letter, being circulated in online pamphlet form and as posters across the district, reassures students that examinations are merely a tool to assess knowledge and preparation. Collector Mishra urges students to appear for exams with confidence and positivity. He advises them to stay calm, read questions carefully, and present answers clearly and logically. Additionally, he stresses the importance of maintaining good health, getting adequate sleep, eating nutritious food, and taking short study breaks to keep the mind fresh and focused.
“Remember, examinations are just a phase. Life will present many more opportunities ahead, so give your best performance with a calm mind, without any pressure,” the Collector wrote.
Gyan Rath: A unique educational initiative
This initiative comes just days after Collector Mishra launched the Gyan Rath in Mandla district, a mobile digital library aimed at enhancing students' access to educational resources. The Gyan Rath was flagged off by Madhya Pradesh Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel and is set to reach remote schools in rural areas, providing students with access to knowledge-based books, technology resources, and career guidance material.
The digital library on wheels offers study material for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, Sainik School, Navodaya Vidyalaya, and SSC. The Gyan Rath campaign is designed to ensure continuous educational support for students across the district, making learning resources more accessible and inclusive.
