A heart-wrenching incident occurred in Giridih district, where a father killed his three children and later committed suicide. The incident took place in Maheshlitti of Khukhara police station area of Pirtand block. After the incident, there is tension in the area. On receiving the information, Dumri SDPO Sumit Prasad reached the spot and started investigating. The SDPO has confirmed the death of four. He said that in the first investigation it has come to light that the father strangulated his three children and then committed suicide.
The deceased include 36-year-old Sanaul Ansari, resident of Maheshlitti, Sanaul's daughters Afreen Parveen (12 years), Safaul (6 years), Zaiba Naz (8 years). Local people told that the deceased Sanaul used to work as a mason and also ran a shop in the house. On Saturday night, he first strangled his three children to death. After this, he committed suicide inside the room.
Since the month of Ramadan is going on right now. During this time, the fasting people wake up in the morning for Sehri. On Sunday morning, when Sanaul Ansari did not wake up, people went to wake him up. During this time, people came to know about the incident.
Local people say that due to fasting, there was a lot of hustle and bustle in the village till 10 pm, a few hours after that this incident happened.
