Loyola School organized a Nursery Orientation Programme for the academic year 2025-26 at the Fasy Auditorium on Tuesday. The event aimed to introduce new parents to the school’s environment and values.
The programme began with a welcome address by the Foundational Stage Team Leader, Patricia Rebello, followed by a prayer service led by Venita D’Souza. The Junior Section Choir sang a hymn, and students of Std 4 and 5 performed a prayer dance.
A documentary on the Junior Section, presented by Sherry Rosario, provided an overview of school activities. The nursery teaching staff was then introduced to the parents.
Principal Fr. Vinod Fernandes SJ highlighted the importance of parental involvement in a child’s education and spoke about the school’s legacy, values, and safety measures. Vice Principal (Junior Section) Vineeta F. Ekka shared expectations from parents and offered guidance on helping children adjust to school life.
An interactive session allowed parents to engage with the school management and teachers. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, marking the beginning of a collaborative journey between parents and the school for the new academic session.
