Medicaps University's Literary Club, The Sahityik, successfully hosted the grand Litopia 2.0 Literature Festival, a vibrant celebration of literature, creativity, and intellectual discourse, bringing together literary enthusiasts for an enriching and immersive experience.
The festival was inaugurated by renowned writer and Sahitya Academy Awardee, Prof. Dr. Garima Dubey, along with Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof (Dr.) D.K. Patnaik. In her keynote address, Dr. Dubey highlighted the role of literature in shaping intellectual and cultural growth, urging students to develop a habit of reading and writing. The event was further graced by Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Brajashish Patnaik, Dean Academics, Dr. A.A. Koser, Club Head, Dr. Shalini Modh, and esteemed faculty members from the Department of Languages.
The two-day festival featured an array of engaging literary activities, including: Book Fair - A paradise for book lovers, Harry Potter Quiz - A test of magical knowledge, Legacy Beyond the Benches - A motivational talk inspiring young minds, Detective Game - A Case Study - Encouraging analytical thinking. Mic Drop - A platform for creative expression, Adding to the excitement, the renowned theater group "Anvarat" mesmerized the audience with a powerful performance, while students showcased their wit and legal acumen through "Medicaps Ki Adalat."
Beyond literature, food and game stalls brought a festive vibe to the event, making it a truly interactive and immersive experience. The grand festival concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes to winning participants.
Club Head Dr. Shalini Modh expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all contributors, acknowledging their efforts in making Litopia 2.0 a resounding success.
