Law students submit memo on road safety

Thursday, 30 January 2025 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

A group of law students from Bhopal attempted to draw the attention of the district administration to the worsening road safety conditions in the state capital on Wednesday.

The students submitted a memorandum to Additional Collector Prakash Nayak. They highlighted two critical locations in the city where damaged dividers are posing serious hazards to motorists.

At Char Imli Turn, the divider’s poor visibility at night has led to numerous accidents. The students called for the installation of reflectors or hazard lights to improve safety. In front of Rai Hospital, a broken divider has caused significant traffic disruptions and frequent accidents, leading to an urgent plea for repairs.

Law students Tanishq Dubey, Harsh Dangi, and Jalaj Sharma spoke out, emphasizing the immediate need for action to prevent further accidents.
