The Aam Aadmi Party Convener Arvind Kejriwal has directed AAP candidates who lost in the Delhi Assembly elections to stay connected with the people, address their concerns, and continue public service. Senior leader Manish Sisodia stated that Arvind Kejriwal met with AAP candidates who lost, and highlighted the challenges of an unfair electoral environment but praised the candidates for their perseverance.
Sisodia added that their experience will be utilised for the party’s expansion beyond Delhi, reaffirming AAP’s commitment to serving the public and holding the government accountable.
Sisodia spoke to the media and said that today, Arvind Kejriwal met with AAP candidates who contested the Delhi Assembly elections but were not successful. He said, “Arvind Kejriwal encouraged them, acknowledging their strong efforts in the elections.”
He added, “Despite an electoral environment where government machinery, money, and liquor were openly misused, and election rules were blatantly violated, these candidates remained steadfast and fought courageously.”
The AAP leader highlighted that during the discussion, Kejriwal stressed the importance of AAP candidates continuing their public service, regardless of the election outcome.
