BJP's state spokesperson Pratul Shahdev today attacked the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's convention and said that instead of Jharkhand welfare, only family welfare was implemented in the convention. Pratul said that BJP was saying for a long time that the next president of JMM will also be from Soren family. And that is what happened.

The Chief Minister had a better opportunity to make any dedicated senior worker of his party the president. But despite the big responsibility of the post of Chief Minister, he did not think it appropriate to trust anyone. Pratul said that this is what happens in family-oriented parties, family members are appointed to all the important posts including the president. Common workers are called only to raise their hands.

Pratul said that infiltration is becoming a big problem in Jharkhand. Demography is changing in Santhal Pargana and other districts of Jharkhand. The population of tribals is continuously falling and that of Muslims is increasing. But it is a matter of regret that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which calls itself a party of tribals, did not even discuss the declining population of tribals and infiltration. The fact that the party did not say even a single word on the issue of infiltration in the entire convention indicates the politics of appeasement.

Pratul said that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha had made long and tempting promises in its charter of rights. There was not even a single line proposal nor any discussion on how the government will implement this charter of rights. Whereas the public had given Jharkhand Mukti Morcha the opportunity to come to power again on the basis of this manifesto. Obviously, the charter of rights is going to have the same fate as the 2019 Nischay Patra. The promises are going to remain confined only to the manifesto.

Pratul said that this Maha Adhiveshan was completely dedicated to glorifying Hemant Soren ji. Instead of having a meaningful discussion on the development of Jharkhand, all the speakers only praised the Chief Minister. Pratul said that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha made it clear by passing a resolution against the Umeed law (Waqf Board Amendment Act) that the poor Muslims who are getting powers from this law have no meaning for them. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha was seen opposing it only at the behest of some Maulvis and Maulanas.

Pratul said that the law and order in the entire state is completely destroyed. Organized criminal gangs are replacing Naxalites in rural areas. Murders are taking place every day in the city. The general public is terrorized. Pratul said that there is no department in the state where corruption is not prevalent.

From the block office to the secretariat, no work is done without offerings. It is unfortunate that these two big issues were not discussed in the Maha Adhiveshan.
